Friends of the Moniteau county library

Purpose

The purpose of the Friends shall be to create public support for and use of library services in Moniteau County, to encourage gifts, endowments, and memorials for the Moniteau County Library, to sponsor programs designed to enhance literacy and add to the cultural life of the community, and to do all other things necessary and proper to achieve these objectives, such purposes being authorized by RSMo 355.025


Projects funded by the Friends of Moniteau County Library Services

2013: Replacement of awning in front of the library, Elia Wood Paegelow 140th Birthday Celebration

2014: New library doors, seating area, and an additional staff member during Summer Reading Program

2016: Refurbishing of Heyssel Hall

2019: New Bike Rack
